I just can't get into it as much. It seems like it takes twice as long to do anything, due to the lack of ability to stack tasks up, because I HAVE TO WALK MY SIM OVER TO EVERY FUCKING OBJECT TO GET THE DIALOG. This is ridiculous, and really turns me off from even starting the game. If I start it, I'm going to dedicate at least 2 hours. You can't get shit done in 2 hours on the Wii version, maybe just over a week in Sim-time. I guess this gives the game "staying-power", but it detracts from the playability.

Anyway, whatever. In honor of the original PC sims3, here is a link to an updated nude patch/censor remover. Read the directions, remove any older patches first.SimsGuyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18280277663027886658noreply@blogger.com16tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4263928494252476958.post-70576681589351668002010-11-20T00:03:00.001-08:002010-11-20T00:24:22.374-08:00Off-topic PostSo, I've been a bit obsessed with Four Loko lately, as I seem to be with quasi-taboo subjects.

Items/subjects such as this are interesting to me because of two things:
1. It's semi-underground, at least where I am. This makes it more interesting because it's terribly fun to introduce other non-internets people to it and in this case, let them sort of discover it for themselves.
2. It's not bullshit. In the age of faux viral videos, manufactured hype and paid guerilla marketing, it's somewhat rare to find a product that is, for lack of a better term, pure. You wont see any 4Loko (abbreviating as such from here on) commercials, billboards or magazine ads (likely for good reason). What Phusion put out was a product that works. Whether it works like the FDA or your mother would prefer it to work is a different story, but anyone who has drank one would agree, it works.

We had a 4loko tasting tonight, which included Fruit Punch, Watermelon, UVA(grape, I have no idea why they don't just call it grape on the can). We had previously tasted Blue Raspberry. Unsurprisingly, there was no consensus. Personally, the grape (UVA) is pretty good. One taster who couldn't stomach any of the others loved the watermelon (gross).

If you haven't drank a 4loko or you normally hang out with people who wouldn't normally buy ghettowine/maltbeverage/energydrink concoctions, I highly recommend you buy one and bring it over. It's a conversation piece by itself, before you even crack the can. Bring small plastic tasting glasses to church it up a bit.

Oh yeah, drink fast. Phusion took the stimulants out in advance of the FDA declaring it "unsafe for consumption" as of Weds the 17th. Pussies.SimsGuyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18280277663027886658noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4263928494252476958.post-57872278780426995962010-11-17T18:55:00.000-08:002010-11-17T18:59:04.415-08:00Trying to round up some people for multi-player mode!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 186px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVJib-MXTnaMjncGLKUws6-G6uCcbwq1JdL-629H7wndrN5Fh0A1z6HZDw9M9R-J2DQwmcLCj1G8JV6dBKKzMtlZ-MvvOj3YDvOT0iqcdiM37s5qa9_XVlt0-J8SbWTWVa4oyBj-Y_XsI/s200/Untitled-1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5540718651844179986" />SimsGuyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18280277663027886658noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4263928494252476958.post-31961306467367869582010-11-16T19:42:00.000-08:002010-11-17T18:20:52.850-08:00Been Awhile...So lots of stuff has been happening/happened, causing me to all but abandon this blog. However, I'm back again, coinciding with the release of Sims 3 for the consoles, specifically the Wii. I have just began playing and so far, I like some of the new-to-console (and same for PC) features. However, the motion is a pain in the ass. You have to direct your Sim to each object to perform actions and using the Wiimote to highlight/act is awkward compared to a mouse. Perhaps I'll get better at it.
I started the game by buying the the houseboat. After I got done furnishing it (sparsely..) I was bankrupt. I have taken the Rockstar career path to match my vicarious living via Simlife and so far my career has apexed at updating the band's blog. Of course, saving the Simoleons necessary to buy a guitar is somewhat necessary to promotion.

One thing that hasn't changed is it's ability to make hours disappear in a flash...SimsGuyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18280277663027886658noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4263928494252476958.post-85770239240238448462009-06-01T20:29:00.000-07:002010-11-16T19:59:26.130-08:00Pyromanic SimsWant your Sims to set objects on fire at random? Eating foods containing apples all but guarantees the opposite.

Note: Lots of different meals contain either watermelon or apples: French toast may contain fruits, Fruit Parfait (apples), Eggs Machiavellian (watermelon), etc. Also, depending on your Sims' favorite foods, they may make other dishes with apples, including pancakes, PB+J, and cobbler.

Stock your fridges wisely! If only it was this easy in real life...

Oh yeah, Sims 3 officially comes out tomorrow!SimsGuyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18280277663027886658noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4263928494252476958.post-29603715096223897202009-05-27T20:50:00.001-07:002009-05-27T20:52:19.422-07:00Catacombs...For those of you with the "pre-release trial", heres something to try..

Go to the graveyard and explore the catacombs. I'm not going to tell you how to find that, nor tell you that even if you do find/download/play it, you should certainly go buy it on the release date! Support the developers of the games we love!

However, I ran across a few add-ons that may be helpful, a new money trainer, which describes the new Simoleon strategy (and maybe a few hints on "optimizing" it :), a general pack (which I am told includes a TON of objects that didn't make it to the technical release) (Addon pack nuked by EA, i'll post it as soon as I can find a reliable link), and a censor patch..

Have fun!

Sorry, links dead..SimsGuyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18280277663027886658noreply@blogger.com0
